Hey I’m Meg
I’m from Michigan but really have lived “all over”. I currently live in a small town you probably haven’t heard of (don’t worry I’ll come to you) with my partner and our toddler - thats them in the video. I can’t wait to get to know you but here’s a few things about me:
I love to read and listen to audiobooks which feels like a huge accomplishment because I’m dyslexic and couldn’t read until I was in 4th grade.
I’m very open about being sober and in recovery but I swear I’m still the life of the party despite not drinking. Plus you never have to worry about me over indulging.
I used to work in reproductive health and it fuels a lot of my passion. I love talking about healthy relationships, intimacy and LOVE. It also means that I’m passionate about equity and inclusion and factor this into my photography work.
Photography isn’t something I take lightly. I care a lot about details, editing and delivering you something that you will fall in love with now and every time you look at them after. Maybe that’s because I’m a lifelong artist, maybe its the virgo in me? Either way its an understatement to say I care.
Getting to create and capture beautiful things is a thrill that’s hard to match. Since dipping my toes into the wedding industry I have not been able to get enough! I started out with modeling which has really helped me understand what goes into being on both sides of the camera. And while I take a documentarian approach to photos, it also means I know when and how to pose people to create something authentic and beautiful. I owe so much of this to the influence of being in Colorado and the amazing wedding vendors I met while living there. Since moving back to Michigan I get to bring a taste of the creativity and innovation that’s happening in the mountains to the Midwest which is my greatest dream come true.
